We have listened to our customers and are now delighted to be offering hearing care at BBR in partnership with Hummingbird Hearingcare, an independent, family run company led by audiologist Samuel Owen. It was important for us to partner with a hearing company with shared values and our ethos of providing the highest standards of care service and we feel we have found that with Hummingbird Hearingcare.
It has been proven that hearing health is directly connected to overall health and well-being. People who are able to hear can engage with the world around them and live better and healthier lives. Hearing loss has been linked to several chronic disabling conditions like cognitive decline, diabetes, heart disease, dementia and more. The good news is that growing research shows treating hearing loss can improve or limit the risk of some of these serious conditions, including dementia.
The Technology
Built-in Artificial Intelligence Today’s hearing aids are incredibly sophisticated and feature cutting edge technologies including AI. Most fitness tracking devices use the wrist, but the ear provides far more accurate data – in fact, it’s the ideal spot for reliable tracking. Sensors inside the hearing aids detect movement, activities and different gestures. The hearing aids then communicate with each other, and with multiple accessories, to deliver meaningful benefits beyond traditional amplification. You will not only hear better, but live better thanks to real-time feedback about your overall body and cognitive fitness.
Other ground-breaking features include fall detection, language translation, Alexa connectivity and much more. Hearing well is essential to performing well in the work place, enjoy social activities and family interactions and for your overall health and wellness. Today’s hearing aids put the power of artificial intelligence at your fingertips so you can hear well in every situation and live a healthier, happier life.
